Welcome to Radhika Old Age

Sunanda foundation charitable trust trustee Yogesh Thakur who runs a construction business saw that the elderlies are not taken care & are isolated into depression due to abuse by their family members.

The need to give shelter to Elders who were destitute & abandoned by their families were most important & he started Radhika Old Age Home for such elders.

He started in the year 2016 with 1 elderly & now Radhika Old Age Home is giving shelter to 105 such elders with 50 residents are bed ridden in 2 centers in Thane districts.

The elders are mainly from 55 to 100 years

Mission

To Provide Proper Residential Facility to the Elders with Nursing & Assisted Living Facilities.

Caregivers

Teaching Elders Art, Singing, Acting, Crochet, Knitting, Sewing, Yoga, Dance, Movement Therapy, etc.

Donations to Sunanda Charitable Trust are eligible for Tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act 1961

On the Occasion of International Day of Older Persons(IDOP) Sunanda Foundation Charitable Trust – Radhika Old Age Home was recognized by the Government of Maharashtra for the work towards the cause of elderly.

Minister for Ministry of Education

Smt Anita Thakur trustee of Sunanda Foundation Charitable Trust – Radhika Old Age Home received the award from Honourable Cabinet Minister for Ministry of Education & Ministry of Marathi Language Shri Deepak Kesarkar.
